Part 04
Siobhan was very polite, friendly and very informative. I wondered what it took to be an advocate: third level diploma in Law or Psychology or Philosophy. Well as it turned out in my head it probably only took experience, some sort of experience at least.
This reminded me of a Chinese adage that goes as such: may your life be of interesting times.
I do enjoy the experience of a walk about on a warm even on a work day, when everyone shuttles to their place of work. I would often put on a light jacket as I was quite poor at predicting the weather in Kildare. The real truth behind this though, is that I more often than not would put on a jacket because I feel my biceps and triceps were not as large I would have loved; just about, I would say. I have a BMI (body mass index) between the ranges of 20 and 23 and quite a tall man. And I dress up to pad up and keep warm or hot whichever the case.
On the day I was to collect my lottery winnings I went to my lawyer and explained to him that I won the Euromillions to the tune of 47 million euros, a figure I came up with in my estimation. He immediately asked me to write down my name and sign a yellow piece of paper, which I did.
It occurred to me I was probably signing away my money but I needed not worry. Lawyers are almost always as limited as the information they get . That is not to say they do not know what they are doing but they need information to make well informed decisions and when they do not have these information they improvise by lying, or stalling.
So I made a 3 pm appointment with the lawyer, who was to go to the court for the day's routine.
